Kani Pashmina

Kashmir’s Kani Shawl has got the Geographical Indication (GI) status and is known for its beautiful hand-woven designs and is said to employ one of the most laborious techniques used in shawl weaving. It comes from a village called Kanihama, situated in the Kashmir valley.

A Kani shawl has a feel of grandeur associated with it and would look it’s best when paired with solid-coloured, preferably light-hued drapes or dresses.
